Quite impressed with the Sagola 4600. I've used several other paint guns, and this is the best and they don't compare to the Sagola. It lays the clear down very nice and was very easy to use. Definitely recommend. Pictured is a friend's 1986 Monte Carlo I just recently completed.
The Sagola 4600 DVR Clear is a tool for those who value stability and control in painting. It handles clear coat application exceptionally well, delivering a smooth and even finish with excellent flow-out.
I tested various settings with this gun. In the standard recommendations (2.2 bar / 32 PSI), it is very predictable and forgiving of minor mistakes. However, increasing the pressure to 2.4–2.5 bar (35–36 PSI) allows for faster application while maintaining finish quality. The manufacturer confirmed that this pressure range is acceptable but should not exceed 2.6 bar (38 PSI).
One thing that really stood out was the excellent support from Sagola. As soon as I had a question about increasing pressure, I received an immediate response with clear recommendations. This shows that the company is not just selling a product but genuinely helping users achieve the best results.
If you’re looking for a spray gun that consistently delivers reliable, predictable performance while also allowing for some flexibility in technique, the Sagola 4600 DVR Clear is a solid choice.
I bought the Sagola 4600 extreme. This was mu first time getting a spray gun than other companies but let me tell you guys this once you use SAGOLA you are not going back to any other gun. It’s a must buy paint gun if you are in the automotive industry and like to spray your clear like glass. I’m attaching a video i recently spray.
Recently made the conversion to using sagolas and could not be happier currently set up with 2 4600 extremes for basecoat and using a La Catrina special edition for clear the guns are extremely well made and effortless to use.
Absolutely love this gun for clear gets a fantastic finish, has great build quality and is very light for those bigger jobs
